Ground Penetrating radar products for non-destructive surveys of structures and buildings provide valuable information on:

IDS GPR technology is an effective non-destructive tool for structural analysis. IDS GPR offers a set of unique solutions featuring dedicated high frequency antenna configurations and 3D software processing solutions.

Dedicated 3D software (GRED-3D) provides advanced detection and mapping tools like B-scans and C-scans (tomography map). 3D modelling of detected tendons and rebars aids provide a 3D visualisation of all buried reinforcements.

The Fastwave DAD box is full compatible with IDS's full range of antennas, permitting the expansion of systems with additional antenna purchases.

ALADDIN

The Aladdin is a product designed by IDS and is a patented survey kit that permits the acquisition of 3D images with the highest resolution.

With its full-polar antenna, it reveals shadowed and deep targets, halving acquisition time compared to standard products.

The Aladdin has many surveying abilities, some being:

• 3D imaging of shallow and deep rebars in concrete;
• Inspection of concrete for location of voids;
• Inspection of concrete thickness, integrity;
• 3D imaging of pre-tension and post-tension cables;
• Inspection and analysis of old structures and monuments;
• Inspection of walls and floors for the location of pipes, objects, caches, etc..

The standard antenna can read the shallow targets (rebars), but is not able to reveal the lower structures. Instead, the FULL-POLAR antenna is able to identify both targets (shallow and deep) in just one scan.

The Aladdin is a versatile product which can be used with all IDS antennas for other applications such as utility mapping, pavement investigation, tunnel and bridge surveys.
