Universiti Sains Malaysia expands research capabilities in Ground Penetrating Radar.

IDS has recently with the help of its partner in Malaysia RDG secured a tender for the supply of a range of ground penetrating radars to the School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Engineering Campus in Nibong Tebal, Pulau Pinang. As an apex university and one of the top universities in Malaysia, USM is constantly utilizing and developing the latest technologies for Ground Penetrating Radar. The university has purchased the radar equipment for two different research groups namely the Geomatic Engineering Research Group and the Structural Engineering Research Group to begin immediate research in the applications of ground penetrating radar in utility, mapping, construction and environmental sectors.
